The property covers 18 hectares, reaching down to the lake shore, in the heart of the natural reserve of the lake Bracciano and Martignano, a still undiscovered and beautiful area with short distance from Rome, as well as the nearby archaeological and historical sites: the medieval Viterbo with the Pope's Palace and the healthy spa, the Etruscan ruins of Veio, Isola Farnese, Sutri with its ancient amphitheatre, and the necropolis of Cerveteri, the very small medieval rocked burg of Calcata, the Lake Bracciano with the majestic Orsini-Odescalchi Castle, the waterfall of Monte Gelato, just to name but a few.
The farm grows various fruits and vegetables, and also produces honey. Some recreational activities like canoeing, sailing, bird-watching, trekking, jogging take advantage of the local flora and fauna. Furthermore, for golf enthusiasts, the number of nearby course will enable you to combine your stay with your passion! Martignanello organises also courses of Health and well-being, mycology, ceramics, ayurvedic medicine, tasting of an extensive wine list.
The old house, constructed in wood and stone, offers food and refreshment in a warm and welcoming environment as well as splendid view over the lake of Martignano, which in the hottest months can be enjoyed under the shade of a large bamboo pergola! The house is surrounded by greenery, the boundary marked by a fence which leads toward the lake and the nearby private beach. The setting is an ideal place for sunbathing relaxing, reading under the shade of an oak tree.
The “slow food” philosophy is taken to heart in our first rate cuisine, which observes local traditions.

The property offers accommodation in two houses in the heart of an oak forest. There are seven double rooms, all with private bathroom, some with a Jacuzzi. Three of them are equipped with a kitchenette. B&B service included.
