This exquisite 18th century Venetian villa is located a few minutes drive from the centre of Treviso (10 KM) and only 30 minutes by car from arrival at Venice’s (Marco Polo) International Airport. Secluded within a large but private Italian-style flowered garden with a beautiful "barchessa" (farm buildings porch) and park of roughly 2 hectares (5 acres), and walking amongst ancient statues shaded by enormous, old trees, one will be drawn to the small but picturesque lake below. The vineyard on the property produces a very special wine, which traditionally is reserved by the owners for exclusive use by their guests. In fact, the entire countryside is famous for very tasteful red wines, and historical, sightseeing tours to the neighboring towns and city testify regularly to the beauty and enduring appeal of the Venetian Republic. Through the ages, many ancient, aristocratic Venetian families used to spend their summers vacationing in this area and resided among the villas; most notably designed by the architect Andrea Palladio, many are still open today for private, guided tours.

The interior of Villa Gitta is an authentic and precious example of the art and architecture of the 1700's in Italy. All of the rooms are elegantly furnished and decorated, and easily provide for a comfortable 7 to 8 guests. Within accommodations of about a 500 square meters (or 1300 square feet), the villa is divided into three floors, with the ground floor dedicated to the large entrance and dining room, a very large kitchen, and three living rooms (each of which enjoys its own fireplace).
Three spacious double bedrooms overlook the garden and the park from above, each with private bath and shower, and a single or double bedroom, with shared bathroom.
In the surroundings: The beautiful woods of Montello, the Palladian Villa Maser, four golf courses, horseback riding, a tennis club, winter skiing in the Dolomiti mountains and Cortina d'Ampezzo, and in summer, the sea-side beaches of Venezia Lido and Iesolo.
