DETAILS: Villa Ginestra was designed in the 80’s by a well-known Italian architect in a prominent position, with a fabulous view of the lake and the charming village of Trevignano. Lying on the steep terrain, the building follows the natural slope and curves of the hill, developing into 2 main levels, with the maximum exposure to the lake. The interior is comfortable and furnished with refined elegance, including paintings by the owner. One enters into a vast round living-room with a very high ceiling and large windows which frame the panorama one enjoys from the fire-place and the dining-area seating 10. The fully-furnished kitchen leads out to a further comfortable dining-area. To the side of the kitchen, the laundry and a guests’ bathroom with WC & wash-basin. From the living-room steps lead up to the sleeping area with 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, all looking out on to the lake: the master bedroom (airconditioned)has a small raised studio with a divan/bed, and a bathroom with tub & enclosed shower. The second double bedroom may have a third bed, and leads out to a large terrace with awning. The third bedroom has 3 single beds; the bathroom(tub&hand-shower) is between the two. The villa also offers a large studio at the ground floor, accessible both from inside & outside, with large windows onto the lake: it is some 60 sq.m. in area, with a living/dining area, a central fireplace, a double bed and, if required, 2 single beds; a bathroom (with shower) and a kitchenette. This studio can be completely independent from the rest of the villa. OUTSIDE: the swimming-pool looks out on to the lake, and is from 1 to 2.4m. deep, with diving-board, covered area, tables & chairs, fridge and deckchairs; it can be lit up at night (incl.immersed lighting). There is a masonry barbecue, and the area is thickly wooded. Parking for 3 cars.
